Steve Somma served as state Liquor Control Commissioner from 2008 to 2016, approving thousands of liquor permits while adjudicating thousands of liquor control cases.
In addition to his liquor control expertise, Steve served as a State Senator, representing Waterbury, Southington, and Wolcott, in the Connecticut legislature from 1989 to 2003, enacting hundreds of Connecticut's present liquor laws. Steve and his family now reside in Madison, where he serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
